Achieving a podium finish in a recent stage of the Kit of the Week challenge, this adidas-branded Los Angeles (LA) Galaxy concept design is by DesignFootball.com member ONI.
A highly regarded concept kit designer, ONI has here dipped into the Galaxy’s past with a creation that nods to the style and colouring of shirts the Californian side wore in the late 1990s - a look revisited in the 2021 and 2022 MLS seasons.
The green, black and yellow - effectively mothballed when one David Beckham arrived and took football in the US by storm - is here deployed in a modern way, with the stylised striping particularly eye-catching and the crest colour-converted for good measure.
