Leeds United 1978 Admiral Retro Shirt

Leeds United 1978 Admiral Retro Shirt

Referencing the late-1970s stylings worn as first choice by the Whites in that era, this Admiral-branded Leeds United Home shirt provides an alternative to modern equivalents.

Actually produced by retro-kit experts Score Draw - despite the doubling down evidenced in the neck label - the largely plain garment is set off with blue-and-yellow collar and cuffs, and, of course, Admiral’s iconic taping.

The Leicester-based brand had, in the 70s, combined with Leeds to push the envelope on kit design, while this particular style of shirt was worn during a period of managerial-hotseat fluctuation for the Yorkshire side.

Not my team but absolutely love this design. A blast from the past. A timeless retro thing about it. I do wish England wear Admiral kit again...
