Molde FK 2011 centenary Retro shirt

Today, Molde Fotballklubb reveiled their 100 year anniversary kit made by Umbro. It will not be worn in every game next season but the club has applied for usage in the anniversary match on June 18th. The match kit for the 100th season in Molde is yet to be announced.

The retro kit is based on the oldest existing photographs in the club history from 1914. The club was founded in 1911, under the name International, but the history from the earliest years of the club got lost in a fire before it got digitalized.

that is the nicest kit i have seen for ages. sponsors probably on the shorts because fans will buy the shirt. yeah it looks s*u*i*, but the club will still get the sponsorship whilst keeping the fans happy.

Very Very cool. No doubt it'll be ruined by over-sponsorship, like the shorts. The laces are a nice touch but I can see some players omitting those.

I think it would, I did a version my take on an all black home Hull shirt (In the DF gallery) with the current badge on it, and it did not look half as good. I just think its a better, more balanced design, and is simplier and cleaner than the current logo.

Very Nice steevo, love the watermark tiger stripes. Just wondering, why did you not use the Hull crest you made?

I've never thought the Adidas trefoil logo worked well on football kits, but your design is great, the tiger stripes and a lot more discreet as they should be and the asymmetrical design works pretty well too.
