The 2023-24 Major League Soccer season will see the Portland Timbers don their new primary kit, the Portland Plaid Kit, brought to you by adidas.

The kit sports a plaid pattern comprising ponderosa, shadow green, and gold to signify the close-knit bond between the team and the community.

The Portland Timbers have unveiled their first-ever plaid jersey, which includes gold trim detailing at the sleeve cuffs and collar, as well as adidas' classic three stripes at the shoulder to bring a classic look to the pitch. The inside of the collar features a two-person crosscut saw, a symbol of teamwork that embraces the Timbers name. The jock tag pays homage to one of the club's longest-standing traditions, featuring slices of the victory log, surrounded by the words "For the Rose City" and "Portland Timbers".
