Fifty years on from QPR's greatest-ever triumph, the club will celebrate the momentous anniversary of the 1967 League Cup Final victory with a special limited-edition commemorative kit.
Honouring the all-white strip of 1967, the kit also gives a nod to the iconic R's Hoops. Included within the thick Hoops are the names of the players, manager and chairman from QPR’s class of ‘67, as well as the date and score of the final itself.
The kit, which was revealed for the first time on the day of the 2016/17 EFL Cup Final, and will be worn for the one and only time when the R's play host to Cardiff City in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday 4th March, 50 years to the day that Third Division QPR remarkably upset the odds to come from 2-0 down to beat top-flight West Bromwich Albion, in doing so becoming the first winners of the famous trophy at Wembley Stadium.
