Real Betis 2017 Andalusia Day Adidas Kit

Real Betis have unveiled the one-off adidas kit they will wear in honour of Celtic in a game to mark their origins.

The Seville-based outfit will revert away from their traditional vertical stripes and move to hoops for their match later this month against Malaga.

The special kit has been made to mark Andalusia Day - a day of celebration marking the region voting to become an autonomous community of Spain in 1980.

Betis ended up playing in green and white thanks to one of the club's founders, Manuel Asensio Ramos, who studied in Glasgow in his youth in the early 20th century and became a regulat at Celtic Park.

Ramos returned to Spain and opted to kit Betis in green and white stripes instead of hoops, but they will revert to a Celtic-style kit for the La Liga game later this month.
