This 1995-96 season Yokohama Marinos shirt in home colours has lots going on.
As well as the common adidas stylings of the time - the recognisable wordmark on the chest and the stripes running from the collar to the end of the sleeves, this time alternating between blue and red on a white ostensible panel - the sublimation takes in background patterning and a balance of graphical excess on the trunk and right sleeve.
The crest is in full colour and its use of gold/yellow ties in with the bold “NISSAN” branding and the personalisation, including a small player number seen so rarely in Europe, for example, but a fixture of Japan’s J.League.
